Nick Bondarev is a photographer and visual storyteller. Hailing from Siberia, Russia Nick creates stories about the interaction of man and wild nature, the history of cultures that are threatened with extinction. This is not a protest addressed to the modern world and popular values, he is only trying to make the wider audience aware of the existence of other worlds and cultures and the significance of their preservation. The worlds, where the 21st century is dominated by the power of nature, not technology. Where survival and quality of life are directly dependent on the essential skills and culture specific hacks for the interaction with nature and other people.
Nick is currently working on a visual anthropology project, No time. Photoshoots for this project take place in the Russian Altai region and Mongolia. In the time free from the project, Nick is available for commercial shoots in Oregon and California, as well as creative projects around the world as a photographer. Also Nick often works in various remote regions such as Mongolia and the Arctic as a technical producer and creative projects coordinator.
